Chabad of Topanga is a non-profit orginization devoted to the spiritual and physical needs of the Jews of Topanga, CA. They are known by their signature warmth and welcoming hospitality. Chabad of Topanga came to me with a worn logo that needed a refresher. The challenge was to touch up on the logo whithout comprimising it's familiarity. 

To start I created a vector version of the logo. I cleaned up the edges and refit the elements into a more balanced shape. Thinking of the older residents of Topanaga CA, I found a font with a slighty hippy feel. The result is a modernized yet familiar iteration of the origional.
